I have really enjoyed this year in my life, I have achieved some resolutions I created in January. One of these was to move up a level in Pureology, and I did it.. I am now a level 2 Pure Artist. I am excited for this opportunity, I hope to shadow some fellow artists so I can learn more about how to be the best facilitator that I can be. I have loved living in the Aves, I am so close to work. Bobby and I go on long daily walks, through Memory Grove, Tanner Park anywhere that we can let Blake off her leash. I love walking through the Aves, and pretending that I live in some of the amazing houses in the neighborhood. just want to scream at them, PLEASE for the love of GOD take off your shoes..

Bobby and I are going to New Zealand in 10 weeks, 10 WEEEEKS, I cant wait. We have so many amazing things planned, 2 Rugby World Cup Games, An overnight Cruise, 2 nights in the Bay Of Islands, Auckland and New Plymouth and who knows WHAT else. I can't believe that it is almost here. I am not looking forward to the flight but definitely not looking forward to the flight home, I am not going to want to leave NZ. On a happy note, the day we come home is also the day my best friend KRISTI ANN LARSEN is getting married,.. SO I guess if I am going to live a day twice, I am happy it is my BFF's Wedding Date...

I am excited that it is summer, and I am also excited for upcoming SYNERGY- it is going to be an incredible experience.. I love my Pureology family, and I can't wait to see them..

I am not sure what it is I want to say exactly, but I am blessed... I have an unconditional loving family, husband and friends... I have a job that I love, not every day is easy but in the end I am passionate about what I do, and that is what matters the most to me. I love to meet new people, and to catch up with people I have met before. I am blessed with all the opportunities I am given, one being just last month when I was included in 500 Hairdressers that were chosen to fly to NYC, to Use our Voice Our Power to Make This a Beautiful World Without HIV/AIDS.. I can't describe the feelings I had through this experience. I got to meet so many amazing stylists, and mentors. I got to use my voice, and was able to hear so many stories that were nothing but empowering, raw, emotional and real.. I am going to continue to strive to raise awareness and to let people know its ok to talk about HIV/AIDS, to not be ashamed, and to not ignore this disease. I will continue to use my voice to raise awareness, and I will use my power to help put a stop to this disease forever.

Here are some trip details...
I was lucky enough to sit by my friend/mentor Lindsey on the plane ride there, we had a blast we were very excited to be able to facebook in the sky.. I also got to be roomies with Trang, who I was lucky to meet in my Pureology Induction training..
We got to NYC, and immediatly went shopping at H&M of course, lucky for us it was 5 blocks from our hotel.. WE stayed in an amazing hotel, on 42nd St and Park Ave.. I just love NEW YORK CITY, we went to dinner in Little Italy, it was amazing. The next day I woke up early and continued to shop, I went to the 4 story Forever 21 in Times Square, that place is fabulous, and very dangerous to me ha ha..
After shopping we gathered together in our business chic attire, and we walked to the United Nations, this was surreal, it was crazy to sit in the same room as all of the ambassadors of the world.. I was Mongolia's seat, I couldnt help but play with the headset and microphone..
We heard some inspirational speakers, and sad but true statistics about HIV/AIDS..
That night we had a nice cocktail, dinner in the hotel and I decided to walk to Rockafeller because I HAD to see the CHristmas Tree, and lets just say it was beautiful, I love that city but during Christmas with all the lights it is breathtaking.. I could go on and on with all of the reasons I love NYC, but I wont ha ha..
The next day we woke up VERY early, and set out for the Pureology/Loreal building on 5th, we formed into our teams and we headed out to represent Hairdressers Against Aids..
I was able to meet a lot of people, due to the rain we decided not to stay in Madison Square Park, we rode the Subways instead, we went to Ground Zero, GRand Central, and back uptown and downtown for several hours. New Yorkers are not the nicest bunch, but I was surprised at how many people's stories were told that day. We recorded them in our little flip cameras and the videos were then displayed on the giant tv in Times Square. It was a very empowering experience, and I am honored and blessed to have been chosen to be a part of it..

I AM ON CLOUD 9 RIGHT NOW, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL YESTERDAY FROM LOREAL INVITING ME TO THE HAIRDRESSERS AGAINST AIDS CAMPAIGN IN NYC, WELL I WAS ECSTATIC I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW AWESOME OF AN EXPERIENCE THIS WOULD BE, UNDERNEATH THE EMAIL IT SAID THAT REGISTRATION WAS NOW CLOSED SO CALL ABOUT AVAILABILITY SO I TRIED NOT TO GET MY HOPES UP TOO MUCH, I CALLED FIRST THING THIS MORNING, AND THE TOLD ME THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO....................ATTEND WAHOO, I AM SO EXCITED I LEAVE NOV 29TH AND COME HOME ON DEC 1ST SO REALLY QUICK TRIP BUT ITS NYC, THE CITY NEVER SLEEPS... WE ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE OUR FLIGHT & HOTEL COVERED BY LOREAL SO WE GET TO STAY AT THE GRAND HYATT PARK AVE...
SO HERE IS OUR 2 DAY PLAN WHILE WE ARE THERE-
On November 30th, 500 hairdressers including ME will gather together at the United Nations for a educators workshop as well as hearing from guest speakers. On December 1st Worlds Aids Day we will flood the streets of NYC creating a viral campaign as well as on our Social Networks and streaming videos all over the heart of New York City, Times Square.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ALL THE BRANDS ARE GOING TO MEET TOGETHER, SO IT IS GOING TO BE SUCH AN AMAZING AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE.. I CANT WAIT TO SHARE MY POST ON MY RETURN, AND I OF COURSE AM GOING TO GO ICE SKATING WHILE I AM THERE AND TO SEE THE ROCKEFELLER TREE , BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO NYC DURING CHRISTMAS TIME...
I JUST AM SO THANKFUL TO HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY, AND I LOVE LOVE MY JOB AND THE JOURNEYS IT TAKES ME ON IN LIFE. I want to believe in myself, I want to know that if I want it to happen it will happen, I want to stay strong. I want to never stop being passionate about hair, and I want to continue to grow in my knowledge. I am an artist. I am a wife, I am a daughter, I am Blake's Mama, I am an Aunt, I am a Friend, I am Me. I want to stand up for what I believe in, I want to be able to stand up for myself when my feelings get hurt, I want to have a life with unconditional love and light. I want to move further in my career, I want to be the best I can be, I want to stay positive, I want to look more at the glass half full than empty, I want to spread more love into this world, I want to be happy with my inner beauty as well as be happy with my outer shell, I want to have pride in myself and my work. I want to be always happily in love with my best friend and husband, I want to have babies one day and I want to be an amazing loving mother, I want to be a true friend, I want to never have to be scared to open myself up, I don't want to be self critical anymore, I want to go back and read this every day that I start to doubt any of these things.

Well another Halloween has come and gone, I sure do love this holiday. This Yr it fell on a Sunday, so that means 2-3 days of celebrations, which is actually quite fun but very tiring.. I had a couple costumes this yr- they were actually both costumes from previous halloweens(?) but with a couple little bits of added flair... THis week has been a pretty emotionally exhausting week, so it was nice to get out be with Good Friends, and have a fun time with lots of laughs. I swear by Laughter. :)
The first night I went with Melissa and Brad to Jenn and Wes's house, it was fun- some really good costumes, and of course Mel and I always have a good time. I really am so happy that we have been spending more time together- she is a positive person and we have a lot in common so we are never wondering what should we do?, plus she makes me go to Pilates, which I am very thankful for.. Then the next night- Meg and I went to Tav to meet up with some friends- Michael was Sue Sylvestor from Glee- BEST costume ha ha, and then we went to a party with another group of friends- I brought Blake as my sidekick, and she was a hit but she was NOT a fan of the crazy costumes and loud music. I think my favorite part of last night had to be the fact that Bobby got off work early, and met up with us- he was also part of my costume- I dont have pics of us because my camera died but we were Ariel, Eric and Sebastian from the Little Mermaid ha ha... Anyway- Yay For Halloween, Family, and Friends...

SaloN WaRs

Sanctuary was invited to be a part in the 2nd annual Salon Wars- Lets just say it was fun but I wont be a part of it next yr :) It was stressful, and working with 3 different locations, WAS NOT EASY.. Everyone was having trouble communicating, and we had a lot of type A's going around ;P We did an Alice in Wonderland theme, and we did awesome I think. Our hair makeup, body paint, and costumes were creative and fun! We did have trouble communicating, and planning the choreography and our poor models drank a little too much before taking the stage but it was fun all the same.
It has been pretty slow at the salon this past month, luckily I have had several PK Pureology classes set up to get me by, plus Bobby has been making awesome money-thank goodness for that! I am going to Idaho on Monday to teach a class, and be a part of the Salon Centric meeting. I get to have dinner while I am there with my friend Brooke, which I am excited about. That girl can always make me laugh. I have an interview at The Bar In Sugarhouse which I am super excited about, I think it will be a fun 2nd job, well I guess 3rd ha ha- I wish I was loaded and didnt have to get another job, but at least all 3 of them are fun in their own unique ways..
Blake is simply adorable, I have become one of those people that can't shut up about their dog ha but ya know what I don't care, she is the greatest little pup and she makes us so happy. It snowed for the first time this season and I thought she would hate it- but Nope she loves it.. this morning I took her out, and her poor little body was shivering but she wouldnt come back inside- but now she is crashed out on my leg- AAAAAAAAAH I love her, Ok that is all I am going to say this post about Blake!

Well what can I say ha ha A LOT has happened since I posted last- lets see we got married, We had to put lil tuck to sleep :( I went to NYC with most of the Pureology Pure Artist Crew and my friend Joanna, I attended my 3rd Pride Festival( I love this time of yr) We are now parents to an adorable puppy- and I have raced in a couple races... So here are some pictures from the past few months and a little description and I am vowing to keep more up to date on the good ol blog!

these are some shots from my Vegas trip with my Bridesmaids it was a great trip very relaxing and filled with some fun times, and our Wendover Bachelorette Party THE BEST PARTY EVER, and a Bridal shower that was so much fun... I definitely had some good times, and some not so good times planning this wedding ha ha

I married My best Friend- the wedding turned out Beautiful, The Point was an Amazing spot that was perfect for us. we went up to PC for a great relaxing weekend that was DEF much needed... Married life has been great pretty much the same ha- I feel weird saying I have a husband but I love being called Megg Hansen... And NO we have no baby plans in our near future, so stop asking or telling us that we need to have them we are enjoying each other and have no need to rush into having children :)

I miss Tucker- he was a good Puppy, and I wish he would have been able to live a longer healthier life.. he was Always so happy to see me, and loved to go on walks and eat anything and everything in sight...

I love Pride Festival- its a good time with good people, high energy and just overall fun.. I simply adore my gays especially my boyfriend Dallin- I hope one day to be in his and Ryans wedding hint hint :) and seriously look how long my hair was ha ha Crazy!

NYC is still my favorite city my next life I will live there : ) Synergy was amazing, I am grateful for all the opportunities being a Pure Artist has given me, thank you Joanna for coming with me and To the Brown Family for getting me home Thank god ha ha

ANd This Is Blake Lively Hansen- She was Born On June 24th( her and Irie are birthday friends) We love her, she seems like she is getting so big, but she is still small.. I love how excited she gets every time I come home, it just puts a smile on my face and when I take her running at sugarhouse and she gets running so fast she rolls down the grass hills.. She is a Min Pin/Pomeranian and I couldnt ask for a better puppy.. She has taken on Potty training quite well and has definitely taught us a lot about being responsible for another living thing...She is our Baby and we love love love her!!

Here are a couple races I was in the summer- the Dirty Dash it was a 10k race, it was fun and hard up hill mudslides and o so dirrty, and then the marathon Relay- I actually have been training this yr and learning to enjoy running so I took off 10 min this yr and was 1st on our team and I also took 13 min off my 2nd SLC 1/2 Marathon-Go ME!!!!!!!!!

What A crazy Month or so...

These are just some random shots of my social life lately ha ha ha...
I know some peeps like pics, so here ya go!

Well I haven't blogged for awhile and maybe its because no one really cares about my boring life, until you have a baby blogging is apparently pointless ha ha ha!! Anyway I will update you all anyway... As I am sure you all know I lost my engagement ring almost 2 weeks ago, and it still makes me sick to even think about, I can't believe I really lost it. I don't know how I didn't realize that it wasn't on my finger anymore, I swear I took it off to shower but I was so worried about my Pureology class the next morning I was just rushing around.. I wish I would have looked sooner, I wish I would have only worn it around my neck, I wish I would have gotten it resized, I wish we would have gotten it insured, I just wish I had my ring... It was the most beautiful ring, and it was perfect for me.. I loved it, and I was so proud of Bobby for working hard and buying it. Don't get your dream ring right off people, work up to it when you are more comfortable wearing rings, insure it, and NEVER take it off... Losing my ring kind of set me back in the wedding plans I just wasn't up to planning anything, I just was heart broken knowing that Bobby won't be placing my ring on my finger, that it wont be the ring that marries us?.. Bobby has been AMAZING during this time, he really is my best friend he knew exacty what I needed to hear and he let me just cry for 2 days before he even said that he was disappointed I lost it.. I am glad he opened up to me about how he felt but it was very sweet of him to wait till I wasn't quite a train wreck.. Ugh everytime I talk about it I get so sad, I really can not believe its gone... Everyone is either so sad, or just says o you can get a fake one or another one and it just is driving me crazy because it IS NOT the same...I finally looked at bands last night, because I need to buy Bobby a ring and so we looked at bands for me I found one that was antique looking that I think will be great for a wedding band and its a great price.. But Damn it I miss Isadora ha ha (if you know me, you will know I name my favorite things... Pheobe is my car, and my sunglasses are named Diora ha ha I am funny!) Anyway I really can't believe we are getting married in less than 3 months, it is so crazy.. These next 3 months are going to fly by, I have SO much planned.. Between bachelorette weekends, parties bridals engagements, work its just so much and I am trying to pace everything out, and PLEASE don't tell me we have enough time because I am apparently a planner and my motto is why not get shit done NOW, why wait? ha ha.. We are going to go look at tuxedos tues, so hopefully we can get those out of the way.. We are doing engagements on Mar 23rd, and Groomals oN may 6th... O boy... I need to get my dress altered but I am trying to get in as much gym time as I can before this day lol! I think I am going to go in the beginning of April... so like a month before bridals just to be safe..
We decided to just go up to Park City for a couple nights, because 2 nights in PC was the same price as 1 night at Monaco. So we would rather be farther away and stay 2 nights... Then New Zealand Sept of 2011, we aeriously have been saving since Sept 2009, and so our trip will almost be paid for by the time we go just spending money!! SO GREAT
I got the go ahead to teach my very own Pureology classes I am teaching 2 on March 30th, and then 2 on April 6th.. I am excited about this, it will also be a good money maker that will help me pay for all of Vegas in April, and then some of Nyc in June! Hopefully I will do great, I am going to practice a lot before the classes eeeek... I need to re-memorize my 4 core values script, I am pretty sure about the products so I am thinking those will be good!
WOW, surprisingly enough I feel better after getting this all done, a little bit more organized or something ha ha!?

I am so proud of myself, pureology here I come!!

I AM SO EXCITED I SET MY SITES ON BEING AN EDUCATOR FROM THE 1ST DAY OF HAIR SCHOOL, AND TODAY I HAVE ACHIEVED IT.. I ALWAYS TALKED MYSELF OUT OF IT, AND FINALLY ONE DAY I TURNED IN AN APPLICATION AND IT HAS SKY ROCKETED FROM THERE.. I WENT TO CALI IN NOV FOR AN INDUCTION TRAINING CLASS THAT WAS 3 DAYS AND SOOOOOO EXHAUSTING, I WANTED TO GIVE UP BECAUSE IT JUST SEEMED SO FAR OUT OF REACH BUT I CAME HOME AND I WROTE MY SCRIPT AND THEN I FILMED MY DVD AND TURNED IT IN.I JUST HAD MY WELCOME TO PUREOLOGY AND DVD CRITIQUE CALL AND I AM GOING TO BRAG A LITTLE HA, BUT MY MENTOR SAID THAT MY DVD WAS ONE THAT SHE WOULD TURN IN TO THE SR DIRECTOR TO SHOW HIM HOW DVDS SHOULD BE DONE WOO WOO.. I WILL GET A NEW HIRE PACKET AND A CONTRACT WITH MALYS AND THEN I WILL HAVE TO SHADOW OTHER ARTISTS IN THE SLC AREA TO BECOME MORE COMFORTABLE AND WELL ROUNDED.. I AM PRETTY EXCITED BECAUSE WE HAVE A MANDATORY SYNERGY TRAINING IN JUNE AND GUESS WHERE IT IS............ NEW YORK CITY BABY, I SERIOUSLY AM ON CLOUD NINE RIGHT NOW.. 2010 HERE WE COME.. I AM GETTING MARRIED, THEN I AM GOING TO NYC TO LEARN ABOUT AND EXPERIENCE TREATMENTS TO PAMPER MY CLIENTS WITH..UMMMM YA SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN TO ME HA HA!! I AM SO EXCITED TO TAKE ON THIS NEW JOURNEY, MY GOAL NOW IS TO MOVE ON UP IN THE COMPANY, I WANT TO GET TO THE POINT WHERE ALL MY TRAINING IS PAID FOR AND I BECOME A TEACHER OR MENTOR TO OTHERS.. 1 GOAL DOWN :)

WELL 2009 DEFINITELY IS ENDING WITH A BANG.. MY MOM IS FINALLY ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY. IT WAS A VERY SCARY WEEK FOR ME AND MY WHOLE FAMILY. MY MOM WENT IN TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS DEHYDRATED OR SO WE THOUGHT, BUT IT ENDED UP BEING A UTI INFECTION PLUS A STAPH INFECTION. IT WAS NOT SOMETHING I EVER WANT TO GO THROUGH AGAIN, AS I AM SURE NEITHER DOES MY MOM. IT WAS ABLE TO TALK TO HER ON THE PHONE TODAY AND THAT WAS AWESOME, SHE SOUNDED TIRED BUT DEFINITELY MY MOM. CHRISTMAS WAS GOOD, WE WERE VERY SAD THAT MY MOM WAS NOT THERE BUT WE ALL SLEPT OVER AT MY PARENTS HOUSE KIDS AND ALL AND WE OPENED ALL OF THE SANTA PRESENTS, WE ARE SAVING THE PRESENTS MY MOM GOT US AND THE KIDS FOR WHEN SHE CAN BE THERE. WE WILL BEGIN THE NEW YEAR GETTING HER STRONG, AND THEN WE WILL BEGIN FIGHTING HER CANCER WITH CHEMO. WHO EVEN KNEW SOMETHING WOULD TRY TO TEAR HER DOWN BEFORE THE BIG BATTLE, O BUT DONT YOU WORRY MY MOM IS A FIGHTER. :) I HAVE GOTTEN A LOT CLOSER TO MY WHOLE FAMILY, THIS PAST WEEK, AND I AM AMAZED BUT HOW MUCH WE LOVE EACH OTHER AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ONE ANOTHER. BOBBY IS MORE AND MORE MY SOUL MATE EVERYDAY, HE JUST IS A REMARKABLE HUMAN AND I AM VERY LUCKY TO SAY THAT HE WILL BE MY HUSBAND. SO BRING ON 2010, IT WILL BE A YEAR OF NEW ADVENTURES, NEW BATTLES, AND NEW JOURNEYS THAT WE WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THEM ALL TO BECOME STRONGER AND HAPPIER. I WILL BE GETTING MARRIED IN 5 MONTHS, CRAZY CRAZY TIME, BUT I AM SO EXCITED. THIS WILL BE A YEAR WHERE....

I HAVE SEEN 3 REALLY INSPIRATIONAL MOVIES IN THE PAST 3 DAYS, THE BLIND SIDE, INVICTUS, AND FOREVER STRONG. THEY WERE ALL ABOUT FAMILY, LOVE SUPPORT, FRIENDS, BEING TRUE TO YOURSELF.. I DONT KNOW MAYBE IT HAS JUST BEEN SURROUNDING MYSELF WITH POSITIVE INFLUENCES LATELY THAT HAVE BEEN HELPING ME KEEP MY HEAD UP?.. I HAVE TAKEN A NEW LOVE FOR RUGBY(THANKS BOBBY, WHO KNEW HE WAS A RUGBY FANATIC HE IS ACTUALLY TEACHING ME TO PLAY IT ON THE X BOX HA HA) WE HAVE MADE A DECISION TOGETHER TO POST PONE OUR HONEYMOON, WE WILL GO ON A SHORT LITTLE WEEKEND VACATION TO PC, OR LAVA SOMEWHERE EASY AND FUN? BUT WE ARE SAVING UP FOR AN ADVENTURE THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET... WE ARE GOING TO THE 2011 RUGBY WORLD CUP IN NEW ZEALAND.. YES THAT IS CORRECT, I SAID WE ARE GOING TO AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND AND I CAN NOT WAIT.. I KNOW THAT IT IS STILL ALMOST 2 YRS AWAY BUT THATS A GOOD THING BECAUSE NOW WE ARE TAKING THE SAVINGS WE HAVE ADDED TO EVERY MONTH FOR OUR CRUISE AND WE ARE PUTTING IT TOWARDS THIS AMAZING ADVENTURE.. WE HAVE INVITED MY PARENTS ALSO BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN THEIR DREAM TO KAYAK THERE, AND THIS WILL ALSO BE A CELEBRATION FOR MY MOM BECAUSE WE ARE IN HOPES BY THEN SHE WILL BE A SURVIVOR OF BREAST CANCER.. As most of you all know my Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she found out Tues Nov 24th. She kept this secret with my Dad for a week, she didnt want it to be involved with birthdays, and thanksgiving. We all got together as a family on Sun Nov 29th, and that is a day I will never forget. I knew that she had gone into the doctor, and when I asked her about it after she said everything was fine, I knew something was wrong but then life just kind of kept going on. Well Sunday the world literally stopped, and it really hasnt completely started again. She went in to have surgery on Dec 9th, 2009 and we were all sure that we caught it early that she was going to just be able to get it removed, and then just have radiation for 6 weeks. Well the cancer has spread and it has spread to her lymph nodes, and so they had to remove those also, and now she will need to have chemotherapy treatments. :( this is something we wanted to avoid, it just takes this to a whole other level. It just really is crazy to even think that we are talking about my Mom. The doctor will get back to her in a couple days with the test results, and we will find out if it has spread anywhere else and then what treatments she will have to endure to fight this. Everyone that knows my mom knows just how strong she is, she has to be she raised me and my 2 sisters ha ha we haven't been easy! It was crazy when I got engaged we planned everything for the wedding so fast, and I was surprised on how easy everything was just falling into place and now I now I know why. We now can put all of our energy into fighting this, the wedding will work itself out and my Mom will be there and she will be beautiful and I cant wait to tell everyone that my hero has now kicked cancers butt. Thank you to everyone for being there for me and for my mom and family. Please keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers. I will try and keep you updated as much as I can. Just know we will all be walking/running a 5k on May 08, 2010 at Gateway for Breast Cancer. :)

WELL I TURNED 27 AND IT WAS SUCH A FUN BIRTHDAY.... WE 1ST WENT TO DINNER AT CHEESECAKE WITH EVERYONE AND WE HAD A GOOD TIME, EXCEPT I AM STILL NOT A FAN OF CHEESECAKE FACTORY... WE ALL ORDERED AND EVERYONE WAS HALF WAY DONE WITH THEIR MEALS, BEFORE I FINALLY ASKED "UMM YA I ORDERED FOOD TOO, AND SO THE SERVER SAID, AH REALLY WELL I SAW IT IN THE WINDOW 20 MINTUES AGO.." HA HA YA I DONT THINK THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO TELL YOUR TABLE.. SO SHE WENT TO GO CHECK ON THE FOOD, AND 10 MIN LATER I FINALLY TOLD HER YA KNOW, I DONT REALLY CARE TO EAT ANYMORE SO DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.. SO RATHER THAN HAVE THE MANAGER COME OVER OR TAKE CARE OF IT 10 MIN LATER SHE BROUGHT ME A SCALDING HOT PLATE OF FOOD, AND TOLD ME A MANAGER WAS ON HIS WAY SO I COULD EAT IT IF I WANTED.. THEN INSTEAD OF A MANAGER THEY FINALLY 20 MIN LATER BROUGHT ME MY BILL WITH A DRINK I DIDNT ORDER PLUS MY FOOD HA HA YA JENN TOOK CARE OF THAT LITTLE SITUATION FOR ME... I JUST REALLY HATE THAT RESTAURANT SO SORRY FRIENDS BUT NOTHING WILL EVER BE PLANNED THERE AGAIN!!

THEN THE NEXT NIGHT WAS MY ACTUAL BIRTHDAY AND BOBBY MADE IT A FABULOUS DAY... I WENT AND GOT A FACIAL, AND THEN WE DID SOME SHOPPING WENT TO LUNCH AND THEN SAW NEW MOON (HE IS SO NICE HA HA) THEN WE WENT OVER TO MY PARENTS FOR CAKE, AND SOME DINNER... MY MOM MADE MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CAKE EVEN WITH A BROKEN WRIST.. THAT NIGHT WE WENT TO CLUB 90, YES CLUB 90 AND HAD AN AWESOME KARAOKE NIGHT, THEN A LITTLE AFTER PARTAY AT KELSIE AND RANDYS O WHAT AN AMAZING BIRTHDAY.. SO MY MOM PLANNED A PARTY AT THE TAVERNACLE LAST NIGHT FOR MY DAD'S 60TH BIRTHDAY... IT WAS SUCH A BLAST AND A VERY GOOD TURN OUT.. IT WAS ALSO NICE BECAUSE WE GOT THERE EARLY, SO THAT MEANT WE GOT TO LEAVE EARLY AND GET TO BED ON TIME HA HA(I AM GETTING SO OLD!) tHERE WERE MANY FUN TIMES DURING THE NIGHT, MY DAD DEDICATED THEIR SONG TO MY MOM,THEY HAVE HAD THE SAME ONE FOR 40 YRS(NOW THATS WHAT I CALL COMMITMENT :) ) ALSO CASSIE REQUESTED YMCA, AND MADE MY DAD, UNCLE MIKE, BOBBY AND DEE GET UP ON THE STAGE WITH HATS HA HA!! IT WAS SERIOUSLY SO FUNNY, AND I AM VERY PROUD OF ALL OF THEM FOR GETTING UP THERE..

AT THE END OF THE NIGHT MY DAD HAD TO GET UP ON THE PIANO AND GO THROUGH A BIRTHDAY SONG,(AFTER ALL THE STRIPPING AND NOT SO ATTRACTIVE THINGS THAT HAD HAPPENED ON THE PIANO LAST NIGHT, MY DAD WAS A RELIEF LOL).. Wedding Plans....

So Just some wedding updates... I am so happy, and seriously so lucky to have the friends and people in my life that I do.. We put a deposit down on our photographer, and he is AMAZING, but other than that he is giving us an Incredible deal. I am so happy, because he is insanely talented.. We are having the best d jay in town,(thanks to me being bff with the most awesome person ever!!) and I am so excited to show off some dance moves, Carl you ready to vamp!? Also one of my friends/clients that I have known since the Oyster bar days came in to the salon Wed, and let me know that she would like to make our wedding cake as a gift to us!! WHAT, ya I know Awesome and I am getting a number for the lady in charge of flowers at Costco and we will be making our own arrangements for wholesale..She also knows the people in charge at the Point, so she is going to be able to help us get a good staff and the help and everything we need. :) So yes I am a very lucky girl, thank you so much Laura and Randy, Carl, My parents, my beautiful bridesmaids and of course Bobby for helping me plan this very memorable, fabulous day!!...

Here are a couple pics of the cakes I have narrowed it down to, the flowers will be tulips, and lilies deep rich colors and ribbbons brown or champagne, so imagine that no Roses lol!!.. We are putting the deposit down for the Point on Nov 6th,and hopefully getting an idea on the menu..(which we have decided we just need to put it on paper) My dress should be ready in about 1 month so I am excited to see it in Ivory and get it all altered, and hopefully in December I can get all the ladies together to try on some dresses. and one more thing Congratulations is in order to my best friend and favorite colorado family for being Pregnant!! BOBBY AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED.... HE PROPOSED TO ME TODAY,AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY UNFORGETTABLE! HE TRIED TO TRICK ME ON FRIDAY AND HE MADE ME THINK HE WAS GOING TO PROPOSE BUT HE DIDNT HA HA MEAN BOBBY!! SO TODAY WE DECIDED TO GO GET SOME BREAKFAST,AND HE SAID HE HAD THE PERFECT PLACE TO GO.. SO I KIND OF WAS THINKING (WELL HOPING) THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE IT BUT THEN WE STARTED HEADING TOWARDS PARK CITY SO I WAS CONFUSED. BUT IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DRIVE THE MOUNTAINS ARE AMAZING RIGHT NOW. RIGHT BEFORE WE GOT TO HEBER HE PULLED OVER AND ASKED ME IF WE KNEW WHERE WE WERE.. I TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON, AND WE GOT OUT OF THE CAR AND HE ASKED IF I REMEMBERED THE RAGNAR AND I JUST STARTED CRYING BECAUSE I KNEW WHERE WE WERE...(THE STORY IS THIS!) BOBBY AND I SIGNED UP TO RUN THE RAGNAR WHICH IS A HORRENDOUS RACE, A RACE WE DID NOT TRAIN FOR AND BOBBY HAD PRETTY MUCH ONE OF THE HARDEST LEGS.. HE WAS ON HIS 3RD AND FINAL LEG OF THE RACE AND WHEN WE PASSED HIM IN THE CAR I COULD SEE THE EXHAUSTION IN HIS FACE SO WHEN WE PARKED TO WAIT AT THE EXCHANGE FOR HIM I WAS WORRIED, SO I STARTED WALKING BACK ALONG THE ROAD TO FIND HIM.. WHEN I SAW HIM I JUST STARTED RUNNING AND WHEN I GOT TO HIM, I JUST STOPPED AND HUGGED HIM AND KNEW THAT THIS WAS MY SOULMATE THAT HE WAS MY PARTNER AND WE WERE GOING TO GO THROUGH THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER.. LITTLE DID I KNOW HE FELT THE SAME WAY, AND THIS IS WHERE HE PROPOSED TO ME AT THE SPOT WHERE I CAUGHT UP WITH HIM.. THIS WAS SUCH AN AMAZING MEMORY FOR BOTH OF US BECAUSE NOT ONLY WERE WE EXHAUSTED AND GRUMPY AND JUST WANTED TO BE DONE AND QUIT WE DIDNT BECAUSE WE KNEW WE HAD EACHOTHER TO LEAN ON, AND WE ALWAYS WILL.. IT WAS AN UPHILL CLIMB PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE 1ST HALF WITH A LITTLE DOWNHILL FUN THEN ON TO A GIGANTIC HILL WHEN YOU TURNED THE CORNER.. I FINISHED IN 1 HR AND 3 MIN ( WHICH I THINK WE ALL DID LESS BECAUSE THAT WAS THE TIME I CROSSED THE FINISH LINE BUT I DIDN'T CROSS THE STARTING LINE 1ST SO MY CHIP SHOULD HAVE CALCULATED MY START TIME AS AN INDIVIDUAL NOT A GROUP!) HA HA I STARTED OFF WITH THIS CRAZY AMOUNT OF ENERGY AND THEN JUST TOOK OFF AROUND MILE 4 I WISH I HAD MY SISTER WITH ME BECAUSE WE FOR SURE HELPED EACHOTHER GET THROUGH THE MARATHON... I BOOKED IT DOWN THE LAST HILL, ALMOST ROLLING MY ANKLE IN THE PROCESS OOPS.. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT IS BUT WHEN I SEE THAT LAST MILE SIGN I JUST START BOOKING IT... I OF COURSE WAS LIKE UMMM NO ANGRY MUSIC GIVES ME POWER SO I TESTED AND OF COURSE MY BABY WAS RIGHT (I NEED TO ALWAYS LISTEN TO HIM WHEN IT COMES TO RUNNING, HE IS AWESOME AND FULL OF INFORMATION AND ADVICE..) ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD RUN, AND I AM HAPPY THAT WE SIGNED UP!! NOW ON TO THE NEXT RACE(I AM PRETTY SURE IT WILL BE A BIKING RACE, I WANT TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING NEW AND GET MOTIVATED AGAIN!)
** just last weekend we did a team marathon relay,5 people run 5.2 miles to make a full marathon it was actually a lot of fun.. I almost had a heart attack because I took a 5 hr energy shot and half way through the race my arms went numb and my heart felt like it was about to explode so I had to walk for a minute ha ha so I made it in 46 min kind of bummed because I wanted to run a little faster but still under 9 min so other than that good times.. I am proud of our team, and being there to support each other... Way to go team on our 1st team race...

Bob and Meggs trip to Colorado!

SO Bobby and I went on a little trip to Craig Colorado to visit the Sokias.. We had a blast, it was a very nice little getaway!! We got there pretty late Monday night, but while the light was out it was such a pretty drive. We ran over a snake and almost hit 2 deer but we made it safe... The next day we slept in because it was so much cooler in Colorado, you could sleep with a blanket Marley came up the stairs looking for Bobby 1st thing ha ha... I took Emmy for a run, ya she ran me!! That day we took a trip to Walmart, I love the Walmart in Craig. After Marley's nap we ventured off to the wave pool, where I almost drowned ha ha I went into the deep part and swallowed way too much water. Swimming is not my strong point!! That night Jenners made the BEST spaghetti, I wish that I knew how to cook. The next day we decided to go up to Steamboat to visit Carl and shop around. Steamboat is beautiful, and Carl was so nice he got us lunch which included my favorite Fried Peanut butter and jelly o boy they are the best.. I should have taken a picture.. We then shopped around Steamboat, and went to the river and let Marley play, which was pretty funny because her diaper ended up weighing 20 lbs, but no leaks. GO HUGGIES!! That night I put a bunch of new songs on my ipod, thanks Sokias..(too bad I left my ipod there ha ha) the next day, we had another relaxing day, I went on a run through Craig which was nice such a peacful friendly little town.. We got take out from this Yummy Italian restaurant and got caught up on our shows(ya Bobby and I still don't have cable!) We left that night, Bobby and I listened to a book on cd, and I am bummed I dont know how it ends... but all in all the trip was great, I love being able to hang out with Jenn, I miss her like crazy.. Bobby of course loves Marley I think when she grows up I might have some major competition..(Jenn told me after we left Marley walked around the house looking for Bobby :( ) Thank you Sokia family for letting us visit, we had a great time!!

WHAT A FUN TRIP VEGAS WAS.. I REALLY NEEDED A VACATION, I THINK ALL OF US DID... BRIT ME AND KRISTI WENT DOWN TO MESQUITE ON THURS, AND ENDED UP BEING LAZY BUMS AND WATCHING THE JAZZ GAME, WHAT A GOOD GAME THOUGH! SO ON FRIDAY WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO VEGAS, WE MET UP WITH GIRLS AND HALF THE GROUP WENT SHOPPING A FEW PEOPLE NAPPED. WE WENT TO LUNCH, AND I WAS SO EXCITED BECAUSE THEY HAD NEWCASTLE ON TAP ON TAP YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! THAT NIGHT WE WENT TO JET, I REMEMBER FROM OUR LAST TRIP DOWN THERE IT WAS MORE FUN, BUT O WELL... THE NEXT DAY IT WAS CHILLY OUTSIDE SO WE JUST LAYED IN OUR ROOMS AFTER BREAKFAST! THAT NIGHT WE ALL GOT DRESSED UP AND WENT TO DINNER AT WOLFGANG PUCK IT WAS SO SO YUMMY! THEN HALF THE GROUP WATCHED THE JAZZ GAME, THE OTHER HALF WENT TO BRITNEY SPEARS... I WAS EXCITED BUT I AM NOT GOING TO LIE IT WAS A TERRIBLE CONCERT. SHE IS QUEEN OF THE LIP SYNC AND IT WAS JUST KINDA BORING TO WATCH SHE DIDNT INTERACT WITH THE CROWD AT ALL... SO YA I WISH I COULD HAVE TAKEN MY 100 BUCKS AND PUT IT TOWARDS NEW SUNGLASSES HA! SO BOBBY AND I GOT APPROVED FOR OUR APARTMENT, WE WILL BE LIVING IN SANTA FE APARTMENTS, WHICH I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT BECAUSE IT IS PRETTY MUCH IN THE SAME LOCATION BUT BETTER CAUSE WE WONT HAVE A MEDIAN PREVENTING US FROM MAKING LEFT HAND TURNS HA AND WE CAN ALSO HOP THE FENCE TO CAFE RIO AND TARGET!! WE GOT THE TOP FLOOR APT WHICH IS NICE BECAUSE IT HAS VAULTED CEILINGS SO IT SEEMS SO MUCH BIGGER AND A FIREPLACE. I ALSO AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE WALK IN CLOSET(I STILL HAVE TO THROW A LOT OUT TO FIT BOBBY'S STUFF!) BUT WE HAVE HAD PEOPLE DONATE US A LOT OF THEIR STUFF THAT THEY DONT USE, WHICH IS SO NICE BECAUSE NOW I CAN HAVE MONEY FOR LITTLE KNICK KNACKS, CURTAINS AND A BBQ!! OK I NEED TO VENT MAJORLY TODAY, MOSTLY SO I DONT BLOW UP AT MY ROOMMATE.. SO AS SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW I LIVE WITH BOBBY'S FRIEND DYLAN, AND HE RECENTLY JUST GOT A DUI. I FELT HORRIBLE FOR HIM, BECAUSE I KNOW EXACTLY HOW HE WAS FEELING, ITS A HORRIBLE THING TO GO THROUGH. I AT FIRST WAS SYMPATHETIC, BUT THEN WHEN HE COULDNT EVEN GO A WEEK AFTER WITHOUT DRINKING, I STARTED TO WONDER? I AM AFRAID MY ROOMMMATE HAS AN ALCOHOL ADDICTION, AND MAYBE THIS DUI WAS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN TO HIM. I KNOW FROM MY EXPERIENCE THAT IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ME. IT MADE ME FINALLY TAKE A STEP BACK AND LOOK AT THE PEOPLE I CALLED FRIENDS? I CURRENTLY WORK IN A SALON IN DRAPER, ITS NOT THAT CLOSE TO MY HOUSE, SO WHEN THE OWNER EXPECTS ME TO SIT HERE FROM 9-5 EVERYDAY EVEN IF I HAVE NOTHING IS HARD ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE ONLY COMES IN 3 DAYS A WEEK AND ONLY STAYS THE HOURS THAT SHE HAS CLIENTS.. I HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT WHEN YOU OWN A SALON IT SHOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE HERE, I AM NOT A RECEPTIONIST AND IT IS ACTUALLY ILLEGAL TO KEEP ME HERE WITHOUT AT LEAST PAYING ME MINIMUM, AND SINCE I AM ON A 1099, SHE CANT LEGALLY TELL ME WHEN I HAVE TO BE THERE? WE ARE ALMOST UP ON OUR LEASE, AND WE ARE THINKING OF LIVING IN MY PARENTS BASEMENT FOR THE SUMMER, BECAUSE JUST 3 MONTHS WOULD SAVE US OVER 2500 DOLLARS THAT IS A SEMESTER OF SCHOOL FOR BOBBY.. SO EVENTHOUGH ITS PRETTY FUNNY TO SAY WE LIVE WITH THE PARENTALS, WHY NOT? WE HAVE A LIMIT ON IT, AND IT IS ONLY GOING TO BETTER US FINANCIALLY.. PLUS I WILL GET HOMEMADE DINNERS WOO WOO! HA HA.. I THOUGHT THAT SHE HELD HER OWN, AND I JUST FELT SO BAD FOR HER BUT I TOTALLY AGREED WITH HER, THAT HE IS JUST RUNNING,AND HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE PUT A RING ON HER FINGER BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT AND SOLD IT.. ps.... I watched Part 2, and I hate to say it but I am not rooting for them to work, there is just something really shady about the whole thing? I have heard rumors that he was set up in his contract to choose 1 then change his mind? If this is true then the Jason I was a fan of does not exist.. Anyway grrr I wish that I wasn't so emotionally opinionated about this show but for some reason people's feelings are a sensitive subject for me! ha ha But on the lighter more positive note, I am proud of Melissa for keeping face, and seeing the positive in all of this, and I am totally rooting for Jillian ha ha!!
o p.s.s. Jason is a total POS... I love how he told Melissa that Molly was involved by saying ps.. I also think its quite humorous Molly had the audacity to even compare what Jason did to her to what he did to Molly... Umm No Melissa didn't back stab anyone, Molly you have to remorse, no respect for anyone including yourself.. I am happy to say Karma is a bitch and what goes around will surely come around.. Hmmm maybe he will break you ♥ twice!! We can only hope!

HAPPY ANNI"LAVA"SARY!!

So Bobby and I celebrated our 1 yr anniversary on Feb 2nd. We decided to take a little overnight trip to Lava Hot Springs, ID... We had a lot of fun, we got to the town and were a bit scared pretty much the whole time, because we couldnt get the movie house of wax out of our heads ha ha!! The town is very very small, and everything closes early, or isnt even open on the weekdays. We stayed at Aura Soma, and it was a cute little place, our room was all updated and the bathtub was gigantic.. We walked around when we got there, we found the resort that had the cleansest and warmest hot springs. We also visited the local muesum, the library, and the 1 market that they had. We decided after our little walk that we would watch only 1 episode of Gossip Girl and then we would go find a restaurant that had steak...(we were both craving meat ha ha!) After we calmed our obsession with Gossip Girl we went to dinner, I must say my 1st 3 bites of my steak were amazing, and then it got cold and it wasnt so good :( but my pie was yummy... After dinner, we went back to our room and let our food sit for a bit, and then we decided to go up to the pools.. They were so much fun, we made the mistake of going inro the hottest one first but it was the best one, there were times that there was so much steam you couldnt see in front of you, which was scary because then of course I thought of Jason ha ha! We walked around in the Springs, and next time we go back we will remember to wear flip flops because the rocks on the bottom is loose gravel and it hurts... We left Springs and went back to our room to finish Season 1 of Gossip GIrl.. We then tried to get the internet to watch the 2nd season and we were successful yet the CW website only was playing 4 episodes, so we struggled to download this site that had the whole season and stupid Zango was making it a lot harder than necessary finally we got it all situated and after 72 min, it kicked us off because we had watched the alotted time they gave you free aaaaaaaaaaaaah!! We need to know what happened... I really do love that show, I love that it is based in NYC I love the characters and the drama its just so good ha ha!! Anyway that was our little adventure... I love Bobby and I am so excited for the many anniversaries to come!!

I JUST WANTED TO WRITE A LITTLE BLOG TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS. I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT REALLY, BUT I AM JUST SO HAPPY AND POSITIVE LATELY. I HAVE LET GO A LOT OF THE NEGATIVITY AND TOXICITY I HAVE BEEN HANGING ONTO BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS WHAT I WANTED, WHAT I NEEDED. I KEPT DENYING THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG, AND I THOUGHT HEY YOU LIVE AND YOU GROW BUT WHEN NOTHING CHANGES AND ALL YOU FEEL IS RESENTMENT AND ANGER TOWARDS SOMETHING/SOMEONE THEN IT IS TIME TO LET IT GO. DONT RUIN YOUR DAY, LIFE, SPIRIT BY HANGING ONTO SOMETHING THAT HAS MORE CONS THAN PROS.. I GUESS THAT IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED ONCE I LET GO, I JUST FELT A WEIGHT RELEASE OFF OF ME I FELT FREE, AND IT WAS FABULOUS.. EVERYDAY I WAKE UP AND I AM HAPPY, MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE I WAKE UP TO MY SOULMATE ♥. BUT I KNOW IT IS MORE, I JUST WANT TO VALUE LIFE, I WANT TO LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST... BOBBY AND I HAVE STARTED READING THE BOOK OF MORMON, HE HELPS ME SO I CAN FIGURE OUT EXACTLY JUST WHAT NEPHI IS SAYING :) BUT EVERYNIGHT NO MATTER HOW TIRED I AM OR HOW HARD MY DAY HAS BEEN I HAVE TO READ AT LEAST 1 CHAPTER, I CANT SLEEP IF I DONT HA HA.. WE ALWAYS USUALLY END UP READING MORE. I DONT KNOW, I GUESS ANYONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THE SPIRIT, (OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU WANT TO CALL IT) FEELS LIKE WILL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. I JUST WANT TO BE BETTER, DO BETTER.. I HAVE HAD 2 REFERALLS THIS WEEK AT THE SALON, AND 2 REPEAT CUSTOMERS, AND I AM JUST SO EXCITED. MY CLIENTELE IS GROWING, AND IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL GOOD, KIND OF LIKE A LITTLE VOICE SAYING SEE ONCE YOU STOP BEING NEGATIVE LIFE WILL WORK IN CRAZY WAYS TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU TOO CAN HAVE AND BE WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU WANT. I AM ALSO TRAINING FOR THE 1/2 MARATHON, AND THEN THE RAGNAR AGAIN AND THIS TIME AROUND I AM MORE EXCITED STILL NERVOUS BUT IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD, WHEN I CONQUER JUST 1 MORE MILE OR 5 MORE MINUTES. I GET THESE ADRENALINE RUSHES THAT JUST MOTIVATE ME TO NOT GIVE UP.. I HAVE BEEN TAKING THIS CLASS ON MONDAY MORNINGS, THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE.. HA THE LADY HAS AN INSANE BODY AND SHE HAS SERIOUSLY IMPROVED MY BUTT AND LEGS IN 4 WEEKS.. I ♥ HER!! THAT CLASS IS DEFINITELY HARD EVERY TIME, BUT I AM GETTING STRONGER, LAST WEEK I WAS ABLE TO MAKE MY WEIGHT BAR HEAVIER FOR CHEST AND BICEPS.. I USUALLY ALWAYS FALL INTO A DEPRESSION DURING THE WINTER, I AM A SUN AND FUN KIND OF GIRL BUT FOR SOME REASON THIS YEAR I HAVE BEEN TRUCKIN ALONG AND I AM NOT ABOUT TO STOP!!(HA HA HA THAT SOUNDED SO WHITE TRASH)I WENT AND HAD A HEARING TEST TODAY AND MY RIGHT EAR HAS RECOVERED A LOT AND I AM SO HAPPY. IT WILL NEVER BE AS STRONG AS MY LEFT EAR BUT EVEN TO HEAR ANYTHING AT ALL IS AMAZING. I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND.. BOBBY HAS HELPED ME A LOT, IT IS ALMOST OUR 1 YR ANNIVERSARY AND I CANT BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN A YEAR, YET I FEEL LIKE I HAVE KNOWN HIM MY WHOLE LIFE.. I AM GLAD THAT I MET HIM WHEN I DID BECAUSE I WAS READY TO CHANGE I WANTED SOMEONE THAT MADE ME REALIZE THAT I DESERVED TO FINALLY KNOW THAT I AM WORTH SOMETHING, AND I CAN BE LOVED. SO THANK YOU BABY FOR MAKING MY ♥ WHOLE.... I AM ALSO VERY LUCKY TO HAVE THE FAMILY THAT I DO, AS I GROW UP I SEE MY PARENTS MORE AS BEST FRIENDS THAN PARENTS AND ITS SO NICE, I KNOW THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS I HAVE DONE, OR WHATEVER CRAZY GOAL I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH. We all finally got together, I was so excited especially since we decided to go bowling I love bowling... Almost everyone made it except Melissa, Erin and Katie, so next time girls you better be there... It was really fun to see everyone, and catch up.. I wish that we could get together more often, but its so hard to figure something that will work with everyones schedules... Anyway I still am amazed at the fact that we have all been friends for so long, some friendships have drifted some people have changed but for the most part I still consider these girls my best friends, I am excited to have many more memories..

I finally made it to Colorado to visit the wonderful Sokias!! I had so much fun with Jenn and of course Marley Emmy and I would have enjoyed Carl more but he kept eating my bread ha ha ha(this my friends... is between the cool peeps!!) We went to Steamboat the 1st day that I was there, and let me tell you that place was beautiful Carl was kind enough to buy us lunch including my new favorite dessert, Fried Peanut Butter... O man O man!! THANK YOU CARL!! That night we hung out at their adorable house I loved it!! The next day we decided to go buy a sled so us girls could go sleding, we took so long at Walmart and K mart that we decided to just make lunch and watch a movie and go the next day.. Can I just let everyone know how adorable Marley is that child cracks me up especially when she shakes her little hand and sings single girls ha ha.. SLeding was the BEST!! O Boy most of my pics were from sleding, since we didnt wear makeup any other days I was there ha ha What a great trip this was, I love to relax.. I am now hooked on Gossip Girl and Bachelor thanks Jenn ha ha!! But ya it was a great trip and I am so grateful for the friendships I have with this family.. Jenn I love you, and I had a blast thank you so much for letting me stay and showing me around Craig and Steamboat.. I am proud to call you my friend and you have an amazing family...

Who has a party on a Tuesday? WE DO ha ha ha... My cousin Bryan"Brownie"Brown, decided to embark on a new adventure to St George, and Dixie State.. I had so much fun at Dixie, so I am sure he will pass the time nicely haha!! Britt, Nicki and Ans invited everyone over to the house of sugar and the fun times began... Lexie and I got there about 8, and I made it about 30 min before I wanted to be 19 again and I played tip cup ha ha or whatever,, I am proud to say Dunham and Lexie were my partners and we were undefeated!!! GO TEAM GO!! No it was a good night, Bobby showed up after work and the boys had a dance party in the kitchen... At about 11, my old lady self came out and I was tired.. So Bobby and I went home, and I made ravioli ha ha ha (not sure if that was a good idea, I didnt feel to good after!) It was a really fun night, with A LOT of laughs.. Bobby and I have some really great friends who are always there to provide a good time.. So thanks Brownie for going to college, cause your little go away party was a BLAST!!

O man last night was quite the adventure ha ha... I met up with some friends for dinner at Squatters and it was a lot of fun(thank you Brooke for bringing Champagne!) We then headed over to Babylon hoping it was going to be a good time... I wasnt on the list(which is wierd I am infamous lol) and all I had was my passport so being a lil tipsy I showed my passport like a badge and just said I am international ha ha ha WOW but hey it got me in!! We stayed there for awhile, I of course fell in ♥ with another gay man ha ha everyone decided they wanted to walk to a friends party a few blocks away... We got there, and I was annoyed because I wanted to buy Tyler a drink so I waited in this long line, when I reached the front they told me I had to go wait in another huge line for tickets then I could come back Umm no thanks..(ty I owe you $10 ha ha) Bobby called me about this time, and I found out Brit and the girls were at Lumpys so I left that party and walked to lumpys not too sure why I thought that was a good idea?! I waited in line at Lumpys, and the guy was going to let me in for free since I just walked right into the VIP line, but then when he heard about Bobby is was suddenly $20, I didnt want Bobby to have to pay to park, and then pay again to get into the bar so we left and some girl in line was like you should have paid ha ha umm ya I am sure Lumpys was worth it!! So we decided to head over to my friend Alicias well when we drove past her house no one was there and no lights were on ha ha(I didnt get the text about her not having people over!) I think the best part of the night though was.... The fact that when it turned midnight Bobby and I were getting hot dogs in West Valley at 711(I am bummed I didnt have my camera!!) ha ha ha GOOD TIMES ALWAYS with Bobby and Megg.. I hope everyone had a happy new year, and hopefully 2009 will be a good year for all!!!♥

IT IS SO MUCH FUN, AND THE VAN IS SERIOUSLY SO BIG IT FIT 12 OF US WITH ROOM TO SPARE, WE GOT SOME PIZZA AND SAW SOME REALLY PRETTY LIGHTS, I AM ALL ABOUT THE LIGHT FIXTURES, LIKE SNOWMEN AND PENGUINS, ANOTHER TRADITION WE DO AND HAVE DONE FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS ON CHRISTMAS EVE MY MOM MAKES HER HOMEMADE DELICIOUS CLAM CHOWDER AND THEN WE GO DOWNTOWN, AND LOOK AT THE LIGHTS, AND RIDE AROUND IN A CARRIAGE.. I LOVE THIS TRADITION AND I HOPE WE ALWAYS DO IT, THIS YEAR BOBBY WAS ABLE TO COME ALONG WITH US BECAUSE HIS FAMILY IS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING TO IOWA, SO IT WAS NICE TO HAVE HIM WITH ME.. IT WAS BITTER BITTER COLD OUTSIDE, BUT THANK GOODNESS BOBBY IS A GIANT AND HE KEPT ME WARM.. I AM SAD THAT CASSIE JASON AND THE KIDS WERENT ABLE TO COME THIS YEAR WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED YOU HAVE TO START THE EVERY OTHER YEAR THING :(.. I DIDNT REALLY GET PICS OF CHRISTMAS DAY BUT I JUST WOULD LIKE TO SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE MY FAMILY,(ALL MY PRESENTS FROM MY MOM WERE SURPRISES AND SHE DID PASSED THE TEST LOL) THEY ARE AMAZING. We went bowling the other night and it was so much fun, I love bowling... I probably wont ever go to fat cats again, eventhough they had killer breadsticks, and fun arcade games bowling is ridiculously overpriced... I am excited that Britt met and adorable guy, who is fun to be around cause god knows double dates arent fun if the other couple sucks lol!! I am excited for many more to come.! Britt kicked our butts the 1st game, it was hilarious she has this softball strength bowling arm I was amazed I should have recorded her. I sucked as usual, I taught myself how to bowl while drinking beer, and I think my brain is confused when its not there at the bowling alley ha ha! Bobby beat us all in the 2nd game, by the middle of the 2nd game I kind of gave up and started throwing the ball backwards, and taking A LOT of pictures, including me and Bobby's dance skills ♥ All in all it was a very fun night!!

1. Listening to the ocean, I know that I cant do that often, but I have the ocean recorded on my phone from Hawaii and sometimes I just imagine when I was there and how calm everything was. I would love to go back, I would even love to live there not forever but at least a year, I would come back fat and peaceful lol!(Bobby what do you say!?)

2. That I met the guy I am going to spend the rest of my life with! I always was told you will just know when you meet that person, and I was so against dating I loved my single life, but I know now that I would never trade what we have for anything. He loves me for me, and that is the best feeling in the world, to know that I can be me I can have crazy days, and happy days, and at the end of whatever day I am having Bobby will be there..

3.Hanging out with my friends, I love when we all get together and laugh, for a very long time.. I am lucky to have different groups of friends that all know me, and we all have different kinds of fun. Nothing beats going to Vegas with my posse ha ha! I have so many fun memories of trips, nights out, even just sitting at dinner and talking about anything and everything.. Its nice to know that I have made unconditional friends through all the bullshit life throws at you..

3 FEARS:
1. Being alone, not just without Bobby but really alone. I cant imagine my life without my family, without Bobby, or without any of my friends. I wish that life didnt have to work in certain ways..
2. Not being successful or motivated.. I can get myself into these ruts where I just want to cry, when nothing seems like its going to be ok and I just fear that one day I might not be able to help myself out of those times..
3. Having a family, I am scared to death to think about actually being a parent, I always thought eh Kids they arent really my thing, but then Bobby had a way of affecting that way of thinking to. Now I am excited for our future, and I am excited to see just how cute our baby will be ha ha ha!

3 GOALS:
1. Become either, an educator, or a Product rep in my career. I cant decide what road I want to follow yet but I know that it is one of those paths. I love my career choice for that reason. It has so many options for me to pursue, that helps a lot with someone who gets bored very easily..
2. To be Happy, I am happier than I have ever been, but I want to be the best girlfriend, friend, daughter that I can. I want to make sure I am always there for everyone in my life, I want Bobby to know I am always going to be by his side, whenever he needs me. I want to be there to motivate him when he gets down, cause god knows he has been there for me.. I also want us to love our jobs, and buy a place that is ours.. I just want to live life everyday to the fullest..
3. I want to go on a cruise, I am not sure when this goal will happen but I hope that it can happen within the next year..

3 CURRENT OBSESSIONS/COLLECTIONS
1. Blogging, ha ha I love to write random stuff and to keep in touch with my friends. its just fun and a very easy way to pass the time.. I love it cause I can say whatever I want because it is my blog MINEEEEEEEEEEE!lol I am also glad that I dont just have Bobbys name on it, but that he actually writes messages himself.. He is such a trooper...
2.Heroes, I love that show. We watch it every Monday night and if we arent able to we watch it online Tuesday night.. It is soooo good and I hope that their ratings stay up cause I need a 4th season.. I am obsessed with the character Peter, who is played by Milo(cant spell his last name) he is our favorite character that when Bobby and I move into our own place we want a pug named Milo!!
3. Going to the gym, I am not obsessed with it but it is something I try to do at least 5 times a week. It just makes me feel better, it gets out any frustration I have, plus I can eat more woo woo!

3 RANDOM SURPRISING FACTS ABOUT MYSELF:
1. I dont think there is anything people dont know about me, I am a talker lol.. Ok here is one, I love photography.. I want to enroll in classes and make it more of a hobby. I miss school where I took photography for 3 years, I love dark rooms, and making the photos your own..
2. I want to learn Italian, I told myself when I was in Italy that before I went back there I would be able to speak their language.. It is such a beautiful language. So maybe I can enroll for Italian and Photography!!
3.I am a professional texter, I Have worn out 4 chocolate phones in the past year from texting, I wore the buttons right off ha ha the verizon guy was amazed at my phone you couldnt even read the numbers anymore... I should enter a text contest!

I dont want to mail them out but this is Bobby and My Christmas card, by our beautifully decorated Tree ha ha ha ha! I know dont be jealous cause your tree is lacking unlike ours... No we didnt get a tree this year, I want to wait until we dont have roommates so I can go all Griswauld on our house!! :) I am excited for Christmas this year because this is Bobby and My 1st Christmas together, and since his family is in the process of moving to Iowa he is spending the night at my parents house.. I love that my family adores Bobby(my mom loves him so much that he is always right ha) Its just nice knowing that I have finally met the man who was made for me, the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with.. He just understands me, and he makes me want to be a better person. He has a way of always making me smile, even when I am making my pissed face, I cant help but crack a damn smile everytime... I love him for that though, because then I cant stay in my pity me moods(I am spoiled what can I say?) I am able to talk to him about anything and everything, believe it or not Bobby knows pretty much everything about me (and he still loves me WOW!!! thats when you know he's a keeper ha!) I dont know, I could go on and on about Bobby, but I think I have embarrassed him enough.. I guess all I can say is I am lucky that I was given the chance to meet and fall in love with my Best friend!!♥

AT THE OYSTER BAR

So my birthday was on Tuesday and for everyone and anyone who knows me I love my birthday week ha ha since I am now in my laaaaaaaaaate 20's I decided I will just have a 2 day birthday!! I found some Jazz tickets online for Mondays game, and they were CHEAP!! anyway I text all my friends and asked who wanted to go, and we ended up getting a pretty big group 18!! So I planned a little appetizer wine get together before at the Oyster Bar downtown cause I love that place and havent been in so long, so 8 of us went there for dinner and had a blast we were a little late for the game but we got there before half time, and were there for the last really annoying shot by the bulls I am sorry Jazz :(... But the night itself was so much fun!! For my actual birthday the next day Bobby and I woke up(I was slightly sick from the previous night lol)and we went to Breakfast with my mom, I was going to make Bobby learn how to make crepes but I decided to be nice ha ha!! Then after Breakfast Bobby and I went back home and I was surprised to find my presents were all set out for me!! He had bought me flowers and they are beautiful he remembered the lilies.. I also got my fav movies Sex in the City and the Kite Runner also a Gyptian cd and he bought me and Ipod stereo so I wouldnt have to drag his computer in the bathroom anymore to listen to music while I got ready... I think the most thoughtful gift though was the gift card he got me for the beauty supply store(its a tax write off for me ha ha ha) I also had a cookie basket from Ans Brit and Nicki and it was so cute, and the cookies are fabulously delicious (thank you girls) after my presents we went and saw Twilight and it WAS GOOD!! Bobby even liked it. That night I went to Z tejas with some of my family and good friends and it was a lot of fun my mom paid my Nordstroms bill and got me a new flat iron :) and I got a gift card for some much needed early morning coffee!! All in all it was a fabulous birthday so thank you to everyone for coming and for the gifts and the calls Jenners all my birthday was missing was you!!

Well I decided that Bobby and I would write a blog together do something new~ bobby thinks I am crazy because I ♥ blogging, but he agreed to love me for me so I guess he cant complain~ Is that right? well then...... megan thinks I'm crazy because I love all this "rap" music, but she signed up for the same deal I did, sooooooo..... I hope that there's anyone who can follow this... I love Bobby, him and I are just two wierd peas in a pod that fit!! Bobby has already given up on this bloggin together lol! (that's what she said!!!) So this week has been fun I got my surgery done so I was on bed rest all week well Bobby just couldnt function without me and he got sick so he could be on bed rest too ha ha! We have been inseperable all week, jenn came over last night and played some fusion frenzy with us, man o man is that game fun.. I was sad tonight when Bobby had to work, but my mom wanted to go to his work for dinner so we still got to kind of hang out YAAAAAAAAAY! From the other side of things, it was pretty fun to see the whole holloway clan in one place at one time, those kids need to be reclassified as untapped energy sources that this world has yet to discover!! No need to drill for oil in alaska if you ask me!! (i am sorry if anyone is lost right now!) I think Bobby and I are going to go watch yet another fantastic 80's comedy-(Raising Arizona) now because we are both too wierd for you all!! (That's what she said!!)Peace bitches!! ♥

Today is my mom's birthday and I guess I just wanted to write a blog to her!~ I love my mom, she has been by my side every step of the way and believe me I have done some stuff that I dont think I would have blamed her for not wanting to be there but she always was.. Whenever I am in trouble I always turn to my mom, she is my best friend and since I have been getting older I realize it more and more.. I can always ask her and she will always answer some way that just makes me feel better.. I have come to her with problems with friends, boyfriends, life and she hasnt ever turned me away and I am grateful for that. I hope when Bobby and I have kids one day that I can be there for my kids like she is for me.. She was there for me during my surgery and when I was out I just wanted to go back to my apt and it was the first time that I didnt need her and it makes me sad, and boy did it make her sad ha ha! I guess there comes a day when you grow up ah who am I kidding I just make bobby baby me now ha ha!~ No my friends know what a great mom I have, ha she has even come to Wendover with us before she is a great time. I love that I am old enough now to realize that she is a friend, a true friend and I love to spend time with her, I think moving out helped that a lot cause now I miss her more.. I love my mom, and I hope that I get to make many more memories with her and I get the chance to have my kids have the greatest grammy in the world(the other kids in the pics are my nieces and nephew i just had to show em off!).. I love you Mom~

My SurgerY!

So I went into have my ear surgery yesterday and I think it was successful! I had my mom and Bobby with me and they were keeping my mind off of going in, this was my 1st surgery so I was a little scared to go under, but it was easy, best nap ever ha! The nurse I had was really nice, she kept making us laugh and I was the favorite patient of the day yay me! Dr Peterson had to remove one of my ears bones because it was damaged and he replaced it with a prosthetic which is so crazy to me, I didnt know you could even do that in an ear? He had to fit it in take it out fit it in until it was the right fit.. its actually pretty painful and when I came out of surgery they couldnt find anything to calm the pain, I got a shot in my arm, in my thigh and finally they gave me a pain pill.. I do remember talking to the doctor after and I was happy because I could hear him, but now my ear is full of blood again and its formed a clot so now its all muffled so I will just have to wait and see if it comes back.! My mom is the best I decided to just come home after the surgery and she went and got my prescriptions and bobby and I some food and then she went to the store and got my favorite treats.. I have the best mom!! Everytime I tried to get up last night Bobby was right there making sure I was ok, and today he made me a bubble bath I love this boy!! I sent him out of the house today, cause he had the crazy stirs of being couped up all day ha.. Anyway thank you everyone who has been there for me through this whole thing I really do appreciate it!

♥These 2 Girls Will Forever Be My Bestfriends♥

I had such a fun night tonight, I worked at the salon and I did Meghans hair, it turned out really cute! It was really nice to see her and catch up! I was lucky enough to get invited to a jazz game with Jenn(I am so happy she was in town) and her family so I invited Kristi and we were all set to go little did we know we were out of shape ha and almost passed out from the climb to our seats but I wouldnt want it any other way!! It was so much fun, and I want to go like that all of the time!! (thanks Jenn and Linda for the tickets!) The jazz I am happy to say won GO JAZZ, and the best part of the whole game was the way the Jazz bear threw water all over the angry Blazers fan ha!! it WAS hilarious... Or maybe it was Marley's cheering, man what a little cheerleader!! AFter the game Kristi and I went to CPK to visit Bobby o man I love hanging out with Kristi I am the biggest nerd and I never stop laughing(that is where the lovely pic of me comes in yikes) we ordered some food and were so hungry we consumed it in 10 minutes ha ha, we got a box for the left overs so Kyle could try it but then we finished it off before he got the chance.. I dont think I will be going to Bobbys work for awhile because I think I may have embarrassed myself but ya know sometimes its just what needs to happen! ;) All in all it was a very fun night, and I am so lucky to have the friends that I do, o and thank you Bobby for the hook up on the food!!

HALLOWEEN AS DOPEY AND SNOW WHITE

I love Halloween, it has always been my favorite holiday... It all started when Jenn and I made Halloween our tradition, we would dress up every year usually our costumes matched.. and we would start early and go for hours, when we got cold we would stop at the hot chocolate donut house YUM!!! They are memories that both of us have never forgotten!! Halloween is just a fun holiday, you never cant find anything to do, this was my 1st year in my apt and I had trick or treaters!~ This year was also my 1st Halloween I have had a boyfriend I am lucky enough to be with someone that has a sense of humor and would let me dress him like a dwarf ha ha! Bobby I love yoU!!! In the morning I went with my family, to Kenna's school and walked around with all of the little kids at her school.. It was fun, but a little sad because her school is connected to a rest home, but some of the people there just love Halloween and they had huge smiles on their faces when they passed out candy.. Little kids just have a way of making you smile.. I wish I had pics of the kids, Ava was a devil, kennas was Belle, Ethan was the grim reaper ha, and macy was sharpay from HSM!! This was a good year, so I guess Halloween is still my favorite holiday (besides my birthday which is coming up ha ha ha ha)

Soooooo, As usual, I don't have TONS to say, but I figure my contribution is way past due. As you already know, Megan was in a pretty nasty little accident, and I have been trying my best to keep her happy and well taken care of. It was a little bit scary at first, seeing her all hurt like that, on all those drugs, but the little times when the happy parts of her shone through made all the hospital visits worthwhile. The ICU nurses even let me stay overnight, which is normally off limits, so I guess you could call me lucky....? Long story short, I'm glad to have my slightly off-balance girlfriend out of that hospital, even if she can only hear in one ear. And yes, she's in good spirits, she even managed to cut my hair last night, without any Van Gogh style injuries. Oh yeah, even though this may seem to be a slightly tardy post, I assure you it is only because I forgot the password to this blog, and had to wait and ask Megg, sorry......

O man o man what a crazy month this has been... I was so excited for my trips Bobby and I were going to Mesquite and Jenn Marley and I were going to COlorado but of course life works in wonderful ways and that wasnt my destiny.. I was at work 1 wed and I was talking to Joel our busser and I started to feel a little nauesous so I was going to the bathroom and the next thing I know I am waking up and its night time and I am in The ICU with tubes up my nose... I had fainted at work and hit my head on a table and fractured my skull in 2 places an ambulance came and took me to the emergency room they had to cut off my clothes which I am sad about i loved the shirt I was wearing. I guess I woke up while they worked on me and asked for bobby, then I was laying there and asked the doctor why the fuck my head hurt ha ha OOPS... I couldnt believe it, my hospital stay was ok I became friends with my morphine drip and almost slapped the plhembotomist that woke me up at 5 am to draw blood for the 10th time GRRRR!! No but I did realize how lucky I am I have an amazing family and an incredible boyfriend and so many selfless caring friends... Thank you for everyone that came to see me, it helped me so much!! I loved all of my flowers they helped brigthen my cold white room of death ha ha... I stayed in the ICU for 3 days and finally I was able to be in a room more friendly and Bobby was able to stretch out on a couch rather than 2 chairs he stayed with me always I can not believe how amazing he was and still has been.. I was so excited when they moved me into the other room cause I was able to go to the bathroom by myself YAY!!! I wasnt able to really eat in the hospital it was a shitty diet plan I couldnt wait till I got to eat... They let me go home on SUnday and I was so excited That night I ate pizza and I loved it, but then my back started spasming and has been ever since I have been back to the hospital twice since i have left and I have never felt so much pain its not even my head that is the problem, it does hurt and the clot in my right ear prevents me from hearing but when my back spasms and buckles my legs and I have to be held up while pain rips through my body I want to give up... Last night I fell to my knees when I tried to get up because I was in so much pain and i had to lay on the floor until Bobby got off work because no one was home and I couldnt get myself up... It has been horrible and I am trying to stay strong I am trying not to think I am a bad person and I deserve this but sometimes it is hard... I have already missed a almost 2 weeks of work and I am out this week as well I am trying not to be stressed but the bills dont stop just because I am injured... Hopefully the chiropractor tomorrow can help me align my back or cut off my legs ha ha NO way I wouldnt like that after the 1st day ha ha ha... No I just want to be better I want to feel alive again I want to not depend on a drug to calm the pain just so I can function minimially... Who knows how long this will last but I will try to stay in touch more and sorry for making everyone worry, but thank you so much for caring...

Have you Ever?

SO I am just having one of those days weeks months (I dont really know the time span) where I just feel overwhelmed and I fall easily into a form of depression.. I never knew that irritability was a sign of depression, but a few months ago I was always angry no matter what and I thought that it was because of my job,(W) man that job sucked, but this attitude I had towards life was so negative and I was destroying my relationships with friends and I knew I needed a change so I quit that job and I broke down and talked to my mom and realized that I wasnt alone both her and my sister had been through the same thing yay for genes! but I did feel better knowing there was an answer. I made an appointment for my doctor and started at the salon... I will admit that the salon helped a lot, I was finally in the career that I wanted and I knew that I could only grow in this career... I went and talked to my doctor and she suggested a couple vitamins for me to take, but I thought that I was ok, cause I hadnt been angry for a couple weeks maybe it was my old job so I didnt buy the vitamins... So I went to see her about a month later to see if my birth control was helping maintain my mood swings and in a way I believe that it helped balance things but it wasnt a cure so she gave me the list of vitamins again and I went and bought them and I have been taking them everyday (8 total UGH!) I still have days when I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep or cry, or nights when I just freak out for the littlest things and inside I know what I am doing is ridiculous but the anger wins and I just let go all this rage that I didnt even know I had left? It has come less often and I believe that the vitamins, no aspartame, and the physical activity I am trying to do more of has helped but I just want to be able to say that I am truly happy (mostly within myself) I have a great life, and I have been pushing some certain people out of it blaming them for my unhappiness when really it is me that needs to be blamed... I just wanted to thank Bobby he is my rock he has been there through this whole thing and he is not going to give up on me so I need to stop trying to push him away! I wouldnt know what to even do if I didnt have him! I love you BOBBY! I have great friends that I am realizing that do love me and are there to listen.. This has definitely built my relationship with my mom too it is a nice to talk to someone that has been through it and doesnt think I am crazy.. Right now I am trying to work through it without a prescription but my happiness means a lot to me, and if I need to I will do what I need to. I am trying to start writing more it helps me to get my feelings out on paper it is a sort of cleanse! I am also writing 5 things I am grateful for everyday and I may repeat some things :) I just need to remember everyday to be positive about myself, i need to think good thoughts when I look in the mirror and stop focusing on the bad I cant always be a size 4 and I know that I need to accept it.. I am happier knowing that Bobby will love me forever big booty or not ;) but I am done with the crazy not eating phase and killing myself at the gym it is not healthy and NO ONE should make you think that it is.. I need to realize there is more to life than the "perfect Body" I depended on it for way too long.. This is going to be the hardest struggle it is something I will most likely deal with for the rest of my life but hopefully I can stay strong and overcome the fear of being happy and love myself.. I am sick of putting on as front and always knowing deep down that I wasnt being completely honest.. I am just done pretending anymore, it is too hard to keep it hidden, because it will always come out sometime and its not worth it.. Thank you for all of the people that have been there with me and for me. I know that it has been a struggle but I promise one day it will all be worth it!

old school friends!

I just wanted to write a little blog to my friends.... I cant believe that we have been friends for as long as we have! I just love that we can get together once a year(it better be more often) and it feels like its only been a couple days.. Like lauren said I am now more sure than ever that we will all be friends forever.. I have some of my best memories with these girls, and a couple of the crew couldnt make it(erin Melissa, Becca) but I am hoping that we can all get together more often, even if its just 2 of us.. Its nice to have that comfort of knowing that I found the group of people I am going to grow old with! I am sad that I didnt get to see the shady guy walk Katie to her car, ha ha but I am sure there will be more randomness to come.. SO thank you girls for being some of the best friends a girl could ask for!

Park City

So yesterday Bobby and I decided to go up to Park City do something a little different for a change.. There was a huge fire in Draper yesterday and the air was horrible so we were thinking that maybe it would be nicer up in the mountains so we went to smiths and grabbed some snacks for our road trip lol and we were off.... too bad when we got there the smoke was worse than it was in Salt Lake :( I wanted to go to the discount cosmetics place to see if they had any of my make up that was stolen, they didnt but I did find some really pretty lip glass I got a set of 3, I would never go to that store if they didnt have good deals because the people that work there are the biggest bitches sorry but they are You receive horrible customer service Jenn You remember that place right? they didnt even greet us, and there were 3 people working and they just kept walking by and not saying anything, so I made my purchase and the only thing the lady said to me was "can I see your id" no thank you, not even a hello at this time so Bobby said WOW this is great customer service, and when we were walking out of the door, I looked at the lady and said "O by the way you are welcome for this purchase!" ha ha It makes me so mad that people like that can even have jobs yet I still shop there damn my make up addiction... I just dont see how hard it is to simply say Hello? nothing more but at least acknowledge the fact that I am there... Anyway so then we went to American Eagle, I havent been into an American Eagle for years, but surprisingly they had some really cute clothes and good deals... SO I went a little crazy and bought me some really cute new work clothes, I needed to stop shopping then considering I had already spent $100 at the beauty supply store(good thing thats a tax write off ha ha) so I made Bobby promise me that he wouldnt let me buy anything else... But then I made the mistake of going into ALDO I wish that I still worked there sometimes but only for the discount... They had the most adorable black purse ever and I wanted it so so so so bad, but I wouldnt buy it I was staying strong but Bobby knew that I wanted it and so he says to me " I havent bought you a surprise in awhile can I get you this?" O man I am such a lucky girl, and very spoiled :) so I am now the proud owner of the cutest black purse! YAY~~ Then we decided that we were done shopping and we went to dinner at Loco Lizard, I have never been, and it was really quite good so if you have never been I would recommend it.. I got the salmon salad, and Bobby got a smothered burrito of course I wanted his~(I love carbs!!) So ya that was our little adventure to park city... I think next week we might hit up the University mall in Provo woo woo~

I Found this quote today and I just couldnt help myself I had to get some venting out... I have been going through a lot of changes lately as I have said, one of these changes is my friendships and the people I surround myself with. I have always tried to be the best friend that I can be, and I know sometimes that wasnt real great.. I went through a very bad time when I wanted to hurt everyone around me, I wanted to see just how far I could push people and I am sorry if you were one of those and I am grateful for everyone who has stayed by me through the thick and the thin.. But the 1 thing I have done that no one should be mad at me for and call me a bad friend is figure shit out for myself become stronger and I fall in love.. I am so sick of the drama, I am just done with it and I have had the last hopefully. I need to just move on, I have always said people are in your life for a reason and when that reason has come to an end than you need to just let them go they may come back but you cant fight non stop to try to keep them there.. I cant even imagine why a someone who calls themself your friend would tell you that you are a horrible friend because you dont go out with them all of the time anymore? it is SO easy to blame Bobby, dont even acknowledge the fact that I finally am in my career plus another job, ummm I am 25 o ya and maybe my DUI? that may have calmed down my partying, but NOPE it is all bobbys fault and it just makes me so mad.. I am just thankful that i have some of the friendships that I do it helps me to realize that i am good person and there are people out there that are happy for me, and they know that I am happy and I am only going forward... It just makes me laugh that my best friend (who has been there for everything) lives in Colorado and we dont see each other nearly as much as I would like but she isnt a bad friend because she isnt by my side 24/7... There comes a time in your life when you need to cut the umbilical cord from your friends and you need to find yourself, the true ones will be there behind you like a guardian angel the other not so great ones will fade into the distance, and you will miss them and it will hurt when you realize how conditional the friendship was but it is better to let go of the comfort of them and embrace the relationship you can have with yourself.. cause really ladies like Carrie said about relationships/friendships....

Well there are those that open you up to something new and exotic.

Those that are old and familiar.

Those that bring up lots of questions.

Those that bring you somewhere unexpected.

Those that bring you far from where you started.

Those that bring you back.

But the most exciting challenging relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. and if you find someone to love the you that you love, well then thats just fabulous....

So I just wanted to write this as a way of saying I am happy with where I am at, and where I hope to go in my life... Bobby in no way has every been and I cant imagine ever will be bad for me. So I am sorry to those who are too involved with their own bitterness to see it and support it, but mostly I am sorry because until you love you no one can...

So, not that I don't have lots to say, I'm new to this blog thing, and I just figure that with all the random thoughts that comprise my day, I'd put any potential readers to sleep. However, I don't want Megg to have all the mother-blogging fun on here, so now you get to hear from me! Alright, in the last few days I've gotten to go to the jack johnson concert, (which was fantastic), and we discovered a super fantastic surprise on our couch, left by one of the drunks who crash there sometimes..... and here I thought I was years away from tending infants!!! I was beaten to all the cool blog news, new camera, babysitting, etc, but trust me, it was lots of fun! Well, aside from home mantinence duties, things have been pretty quiet, I'm just trying to keep up with all the things life keeps throwing at us! Oh, more good news, Megan seems to be getting better, so, she's a lot happier as well. Happy times for all!

jack johnson concert

We went to jack johnson last night and it was incredible.. It was my 1st time at @ a JAck Concert and he is now by far one of my favorite performers... his music is awesome that I already knew but the fact that he performed and sounded just like his cds I loved... I Am usually disappointed at concerts because musicians try to overdue the live performance and they end up sounding nothing like themselves which doesnt make going to see them worth it.. Why would you want to go see someone perform that you love only to listen to something that sounds nothing like them? Anyway his music is just so mellow and carefree it reminded me of hawaii and the peacefulness of that way of living is priceless. I wish that I had money so I could take a month off every year and just take a trip and relax in kauai...(also it reminded me of hawaii probably because chris and I were in line in Maui next to Jack ha ha) But ya it was a blast and our roommate Dylan caME , man he was a drunked sac of guts.. But it was pretty funny there was a time when he was singing jack, and then he would take the tune of a song and list the roster for the utah jazz in the beat ha ha ha It was quite impressive!~ Seeing all the drunk shenanigans at the concert made me sad, it made me think of all the things I missed out on because I was drunk. O I was there but its just a better experience when you can remember it and really listen to the music and just sit back and enjoy yourself.. O and not waking up with the nauseous dry mouth and bad attitude is fabulous also.. Anyway I would suggest if you havent seen jack johnson in concert or if you have never listened to his music that you become a fan right now~

lil swimmers

So today Bobby and I bought me a new camera YAY! I am going to be a lot more careful with this one, no more bar pics, and definitely no more moving to hawaii and filling it with sand...! It is a canon and I love it so far :) Then we decided to babysit and havea little birth control session ha too bad the kids have been great today! It was me Kenna Bobby and ethan we went swimming and I wanted to take pics but I wasnt getting my camera near the water or the kids ha ha! So I was able to take a couple after shots.. But so far it has been a great day, I am not sure if I have some flu bug but I just ate and I am sick again :( maybe it is because I ate at mcdonalds or maybe my body is just telling me to take up an eating disorder ha ha! I am going to go take a little nap with kenna bug(she is out like a light) and then Bobby Dylan, Lexie and the gang are off to Jack Johnson woo woo! I will definitely have pics of that! O ps... I used to love John Mayer but I am really mad at him right now for breaking jennifer anistons heart I really wanted them to work out, why I am a celebrity gossip nerd I dont know but I just really like Jennifer Aniston I am a friends addict!

so I was hanging out with my friend Katie the other night and she introduced me to the blog world.. I am still not very familiar with it but I am excited to use it and get better at it.. I love to write, and I would love to keep in better touch with people. and this seems the easiest way to me.. Lets see where do I begin? I have been through quite a lot since highschool some good times some bad times but I would never change anything... I am currently working at a salon in Draper as a stylist and I really do love it, I am so happy that I finally let go of my fears and I found a career that I am good at and makes me happy. It is such a rewarding feeling to have people come to you for a complete change.. I enjoy making people happy, and other peoples lives stories are very interesting.. I feel like I have finally let go of my party past, and I am ready to grow up.. It has been a hard transition but I know that its the most positive move I could make.. I live with my amazing boyfriend Bobby, I cant believe that I finally found the guy that was made for me.. We just fit, and I our relationship is getting stronger everyday.. Dont get me wrong we have fought o boy have we fought ha ha but We are meant to be together, and no one said it was going to be easy.. I just couldnt imagine my life without him, he makes me want to be a better person.. I just cant believe the girl I used to be has become the girl I am today.. I am happy to say that I have kept in touch with my highschool friends some more than others but I know we will be friends forever.. They almost all are married and they have the most adorable babies it is so wierd for me to think that one day I might have a mini me walking around... It is a very scary thought... I also have made some amazing new friends along the way.. I definitely am blessed I have an incredible family and the 3 adorable nieces and a nephew that is a mouth on legs ha he is a riot... The 1st time he met Bobby he grilled him, and then let him know he wasnt too sure about Bobby Hansen, but now he just adores him.. All the kids do, kenna cant say his name so she calls him Bobby Handsome its pretty much the cutest.. He is so great with kids, I am so proud of him for going for his dream and becoming a teacher... It may not be the best income but to know that you could be the biggest influence in someones life is priceless. I strongly believe you must do what you love and love what you do... I am going to make bobby post something(eventhough he doesnt think he has much to say ha ha) Cause this is our blog ;) I hope everyone has a great day!
